Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat

Madekwe was raised in a mixed ethnic family. Both her parents are both English. She was raised in the south of a London council estate and attended The Brit School at age fourteen. She went to The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London which she graduated with a BA in acting. At the academy and performing in numerous stage productions, such as King Henry V as Princess Katherine and Wuthering Heights as Catherine Earnshaw.
Madekwe began acting with Storm Damage. In the years since, Madekwe has appeared in Teachers and Doctors. Madekwe's debut film appearance was Woody Allen's 2007 Cassandra's Dream opposite Colin Farrell, Ewan McGregor. In the following film, she was the lead in Elisha, a BBC Three pilot drama, in West 10 LDN. In addition, she appeared as Ollie in six episodes each from Trexx, Flipside, and Flipside. Madekwe's US debut came in 2009 with her drama The Beautiful Life. The series aired only two episodes before being cancelled on The CW. Ashley Davenport was her role in ABC's drama Revenge. In May of 2013, it was announced that Madekwe who had been a series regular in the past two seasons, had decided to quit the show following a guest appearance in the premier episode of the new season. She starred as Tituba in the television series Salem from 2014 to 2016. Madekwe married her actor partner Iddo goldberg in June of 2012. Apart from Secret Diary of a Call Girl They have also collaborated in tandem on Salem and also he played a part alongside her in the show on TV.

Ashley Leggat was born in Hamilton, Ontario, into an extended family of. Her parents, Roy and Patty, as well as her brothers Brett, Todd, and Bram and Bram, were present.
