Sofia and Ann

Moroccan-born Sofia Pernas moved to California when she was just 5 years old. She grew up within Orange County. Her breakout moment began in 2015 when she graduated with an education from the University of California San Diego. Pernas had a few guest appearances on NCIS and Leverage after which she was offered her role as Marisa for The Young and the Restless. After leaving the soap opera in the year 2016, she landed a recurring role in Jane the Virgin as Catalina. The actress who is multi-lingual has appeared in The Brave, The Green Ghost as well as Secret Society of Second Born Royals. Between 2019 and 2020, she played Lexi Vaziri in Blood & Treasure. Us Weekly revealed in May of 2020 that Pernas has been dating Justin Hartley, her The Young and the Restless co-star. The romance started after Chrishell Stause, the This Is Us actress split in the month of November. News came out in May of 2021 about how Pernas and Hartley were recently married at a secret wedding.
