Alison Krauss

Alison Krauss was born July 23rd, 1971 in the city of Decatur, Illinois. LeAnnekymes and she were both among the newest Grammy Award winners. Alison Maria Krauss is an American singer, songwriter and bluegrass musician. Her birth date was July 23, 1971. As a teenager, she began her journey into the world of music winning local competitions at the age of 10 old and recording her first album at the age of 14 years old. In 1985, she joined Rounder Records and in 1987 came out with her debut album. She was a part of the group who she still performs, Alison Krauss Union Station. They released their first album in 1989.
